Austin’s progressive voice of faith since 1908, UBC partners with The Sanctuary in a conversation we’ve come to know as “The Convergence Conversation”, which seeks to strengthen the role of the local church in our current cultural landscape through increased collaboration, cooperation, fellowship, and convergence with other congregations. Journey Imperfect Faith Community is a part of this conversation as well.

As it’s name implies, the CBF is a national cooperative of Baptist congregations for collective efforts and support of one another. Their mission is to serve Christians and churches as they discover and fulfill their God-given mission.

Micah 6 Coalition is a network of faith communities within the University of Texas area whose mission is to work together to identify and meet the needs of the homeless and the impoverished in the University of Texas campus area.

Faith in Action Caregivers – West Austin (FIAC-WA) is a coalition of congregations with the purpose of providing support services to adults 60 years of age and older who live in the West Austin area. The volunteer services include personalized transportation, errands, friendly visiting in the home or by phone, and minor home repairs.

Eziama Grace Ministries includes these four services to the community of Eziama in Nigeria: Eziama Motherless Babies Home, Grace Hospital, King’s Kids Primary School, and King’s High School.

After getting its start within The Sanctuary congregation in 2000, Truth Be Told has now grown into a substantial organization in its own right. They provide transformative programs for women behind bars and beyond.

The Soup Kitchen serves the poor who suffer from the lack of basic human needs such as food and clothing.  In order to serve as a positive factor healing force in the spirits and lives of needy individuals, the Soup Kitchen strives to provide encouragement with respect and dignity.  Every person who comes to us for a meal is welcomed without regard to race, sex, age, national origin, religious preference, handicap or income.
