A church welcoming all people.

Following in our free-church tradition, proclamation of God’s Word (preaching) is at the heart of our service.

We celebrate communion. The elements are taken by intinction, each worshipper removing a piece of bread from the loaf, dipping it into the cup and consuming them together. While we believe this rite is most meaningful to those following in the way of Christ, we do not understand ourselves as guardians over the bread and the wine (juice actually). All who wish to partake of God’s Holy meal are welcome.

There is much more to experience in worship at The Sanctuary, we do hope you’ll join us for an upcoming Sunday service.

Worship

2614 Exposition Blvd., Austin TX 78703

Worship at The Sanctuary has been most often described as warm and thoughtful. Whether you have attended Sanctuary worship for many years or it’s your first time, you have a place among us. We are happy to talk with you about becoming a permanent part of the Sanctuary community or simply to serve as your outpost for worship any given week. During our services you may encounter ancient symbols, rites, and liturgy renewed for the contemporary world. You will hear and participate in timeless hymns and current worship music.

Wednesday Bible Study
